-5 points of *improvement* over the book: Galadriel's warning, Isengard & Saruman, council of Elrond, Arwen taking Frodo into Lothlorien, Elrond taking Isildur to Mt. Doom, palantir.
-Tolkien's vision of Isengard.
-Gandalf's temptation.
-Left out and missed: Gimli's love of Galadriel, choice of directions at the end.
