lj-cuts?

Quick poll: is anyone off-put by my not using lj-cuts on long posts such as yesterday's? My theory has been that since I post infrequently, and write long posts even more infrequently, I've got more leeway to take up space in peoples' friends list when I do post. But still, if a few people say they'd rather I use lj-cuts on posts beyond a customary length, I will.

Also, if you appreciated my post from yesterday about the overturning of sodomy laws, please let me know? My research binges come effortlessly, but writing them up takes some effort, so your feedback matters. (I do realize that I may be writing this before you've read said message.)
