Technology on the road
Aug. 10th, 2003 07:58 pmSo, I'm in NYC for 7 days as of just now -- work is sending me to an OSX Server training at the Apple facility here, and putting me up at a full-service Marriott. I'm writing at the moment on a work-provided OSX laptop using the hotel's free internet connection, which worked as soon as I plugged the two together. My laptop, mobile phone, and Zire 71 are all happily charging. A free fridge is busily getting cool in the corner, which will cut down on breakfast costs considerably ($17 after surcharges, taxes, and gratuity included). A free DVD player is on its way up.
This rocks.
[Edit: they thought I'd said "CD player". No DVD players after all. Maybe we'll watch the DVD I brought on the laptop. Heh.]
