Snowstorm report
Dec. 7th, 2003 09:03 pmSeen while walking 45 minutes to Lorreen's at mid-day:
3 broken shovels.
A white street-parked compact car that was almost completely buried by plowed and fallen snow... except for the orange traffic cone the owner had put on the roof before the snowfall saying "don't plow me!"
A white plastic chair in a shovelled-out parking space... which along with the space had been re-buried in the snowblowering of the sidewalk.
---------
Recipe for shovelling w/o neck pain: apply ibu and Ben-Gay in advance. Every five throws, straighten up, flex back and neck around. Switch to other-handed shovel position, repeat.
Did 3x as much shovelling today as yesterday, and unlike yesterday, zero neck pain. Yay!
