Jan. 29th, 2004 04:16 pmFor kicks, I actually read one of those "I need to transfer a huge sum of money for dodgy reasons" spams just now, and noticed a couple amusing things:
"[My cancer] has defiled all form of medicine..."
And especially:
"The last of my money which is the huge cash deposit that I have with Financial Firm Abroad ."
Is that evidence of a "fill in the blank instant scam" peeking through? Do the authors of such things deliberately write sentences without verbs to make you think they're stupid so you try to take advantage of them?
