The God Chant
May. 6th, 2004 01:30 pmI couldn't remember the complete God Chant at an event recently where it would have been useful. I was able to fill in the missing bits by web-searching just now, but it appears that the web doesn't know about the beautiful second verse that I heard from its author at Rites of Spring a few years ago. Google indexes my journal, so I'll post it here where the world can find it.
If you know who wrote the second verse, please leave a comment, thanks.
Mithras, Osiris, Cernunnos, Apollo,
Hannuman, Wotan... Chango
Mithras, Osiris, Cernunnos, Apollo,
Hannuman, Wotan... Chango
Glorious lantern of the sky,
Gone from dusk 'til dawn,
Father teach me how I
Can die and be reborn.
