A word about the "serial masturbator"

(cf: this post, which was linked in davis_square a couple days ago.)

I don't share the excitement about this man, or the apparent consensus that he is doing something bad and should be caught/stopped.

Does he have the car window open? Is he ogling people as they walk by? If not, have some compassion for the guy and leave him alone. It may be his best alternative to masturbating in an alley or in a cot next to 40 other people. He may have gotten enough of the shaft from society that he doesn't give much of a damn what you think, but still be considerate enough not to use a park bench.
