Wow, finally a diagnosis that fits!

To think that all this time they've just been telling me that I'm grumpy when I haven't had enough sleep.

Is there a cure yet? 8-P

I am starting to be alarmed by all these disorders which are cropping up, with descriptions so nebulous that anyone could have it. Heck, on a lot of those questionnaires I seem like I'm ADD, and I don't have the ADD-standard reaction to caffeine, so THAT'S out...d'you think they make them so nebulous so they can sell meds?

this is a medicated society. and a high-stress one. people are often happier to see something like that and think "oh! i have [x]" as a way of coping with a highly-stressed life. [this isn't to criticize people who really do have x, just that such ads are marketed so that everybody will feel they have something wrong with them.]
OTOH, maybe this will mean that psychoactive drugs will become more socially acceptable. the more that people are thinking that they themselves fit whatever advertised profile, the more used to medication as an acceptable solution they will become.

i'm incoherent this morning. bleargh. don't mind me.

Is this IRDHD...
