Friendtest
Jul. 19th, 2002 11:59 pmSo! As promised, I'll shortly be beginning a series of posts based on my Friendtest, which 30(!) people took. If you want to take the quiz before reading my recap and discussion, feel free! Please don't take it a second time if you've already done it once though.
friendtest.com dropped the ball on me, alas. The data from 20 or so people who took the test in the first few weeks expired after (I think) two months. There is nothing on their site to indicate this would happen. Foo on them. Fortunately, I had downloaded a copy of the statistics page since I knew I wanted to discuss the results.
Since then another bunch of people have taken the test -- clearly someone tipped off some of my old college gang. :-) It's been fun to twiddle peoples' curiosity!
I'm not going to officially "close" the test, because I've realized that the way they report the results is misleading. If multiple answers are rated as being worth 10 points, only the first of the 10-pointers is reported to the test-takers as having been the "right" answer. So, anyone who wants to know will just have to read my journal.
If you can't remember what score you got, or what answers you gave, and your data has expired off the site, you're out of luck. But stay tuned for the answers! Hee.
