According to the Baby Name Wizard widget, he most common baby names in the 70s were Michael and Jennifer. This makes sense to me -- those would be the two I'd have picked as most likely to get one cited for a misdemeanor for shouting them in a crowded room.

As of 2003, the most common baby names are... Emily and Jacob?!? *boggle*

I had the pleasure today of introducing this widget to a co-worker who's in baby-naming mode right now. Satisfying.
