Me @ State House today

That's me in the center top. The two women in front of me were the only same-sex couple along the front of our crowd that stood out clearly -- as a result of which they were photographed like 30 times during the day. Every time the photographers then came up and asked for their names, so I did too figuring to image-search their names and find myself online.
Wasn't necessary -- Brandi had already seen me in the above picture on boston.com!
Short news: a gay-marriage ban guaranteeing civil unions got preliminary approval today 129-69. "Preliminary" means it still needs to get 101 votes after its Third Reading to the convention, which can't happen today. A caucus of gay-marriage supporters were strategically part of the 129, so it's still uncertain whether this amendment will actually pass.
Following the nose I have for putting myself where I need to be, I ended up being a pivotal chant-caller inside the State House for 6 hours today. More on that later!
