Date: 2004-04-09 01:45 pm (UTC)Look around for Mortgages. I use Medford Co-Operative bank. They have not sold my mortgage to any other companies yet; it's really cool to just stroll down to the bank to pay your mortgage. Especially if you
want to pay it last minute. No worries about finding a stamp, did the letter get lost in the mail, etc.
And, the money stays in your local area, as opposed to some large impersonal mortgage company that sells off your mortgage and servicing of your mortgage every year or so.
