This is very good news for those who think same-sex couples should be allowed to marry. Ciampa voted in favor of proposed amendments to the MA Constitution that would ban same-sex marriage *without* creating civil unions, in addition to the final amendment which passed (and does create civil unions). Carl is openly gay and supports same-sex marriage.
