Carl Sciortino beats 6-term incumbent Vincent Ciampa for state rep by 117 votes!

This is very good news for those who think same-sex couples should be allowed to marry. Ciampa voted in favor of proposed amendments to the MA Constitution that would ban same-sex marriage *without* creating civil unions, in addition to the final amendment which passed (and does create civil unions). Carl is openly gay and supports same-sex marriage.

This is excellent news!

In our precinct, we had but two contested races, County Commissioner and Register of Deeds. I have no idea how either one turned out.

Are you Norfolk? William O'Donnell won the primary for Register of Deeds with 75% of the vote.

The two seats for County Commissioner in Norfolk went to John Gillis and Francis O'Brien.

We're in Norfolk, and that's exactly the information we needed! Thanks! Where did you find it?
