New Google feature: Use the "movie:" prefix to do a movie-specific search. It aggregates reviews with an engine similar to the one that drives Google News, giving an overall star rating. Examples:

movie: "good chick flick"
movie: "best movie of 2004"

movie: "house of flying daggers"

movie: 02144

movie:

I also heard yesterday on the radio that if you don't have a handy spell checker, but have google open, you can use it to spell check things. Example (tried it just now)-enter 'intergity'; response "Did you mean: integrity".

Neat. I assume "movie:02144" gives you area listings?

Indeed, I've been doing that for ages. Plus as a popularity checker, eg which is the more prevalent usage, shabbos or shabbat? Search for each and count the hits.

Area listings: yep! May already be the best resource out there for that function.

Geez. Movie listings are one of the last things out there I still used Yahoo for. The only thing left is yellow pages, and that's only because I haven't had a chance yet to really compare Google Local.

I assume you've seen Google Maps? Incredible.
