Same-sex marriage: at the tipping point?

mattlistenerA Gallup poll released recently shows that support for same-sex marriages being recognized as legally valid has increased by 11%, within the last two months. On this issue, that level of change is usually only seen on the scale of years.
The margin of error on these polls is 5%, so the reality may not be quite that big. On the other hand, the question uses the word "homosexual" -- which has been shown to bias results against such rights.
