Nov. 27th, 2006 04:29 pmI'm reading the online buzz about "Shortbus" this morning. It got a 10-minute standing ovation for its world-premiere at Cannes. A movie reviewer for About.com had this to say:

Our theater was sold out and it was one of three showing simultaneously at the Kendall.
mud_puppy and I were totally transported by the end, all huggy and overjoyed. I'm still thinking about it, obviously.
Without going too far out on a limb, I feel that Shortbus has the potential to become one of the films that redefine audience expectations, a watershed that divides other movies with similar themes into before and after. It's that good. -- Jurgen Fauth
